I have created a gig on Fiverr and still waiting for the orders to come in.
My gig is not good enough to attract the buyers.
Oh Hell.! I don’t even know what to sell and offer in a gig.
If these above statements sound similar, then just grab a hot cup of coffee and keep your eyes open. This 3 minutes-read post is going to change your current sales funnel by creating an awesome gig that sells 420% more.
However, just creating a gig alone will not work, you have to care about the gig SEO and other clients outreach methods. I have published posts previously about gig SEO and getting orders. Do give them read if you need a success like a pro.
Step 1: Research Thoroughly & find your niche in Fiverr
This is the most important step in the overall process which people usually skip and then later find it hard to work in that niche, which eventually result in either zero sales and orders or bad ratings.
Bad ratings in Fiver = Out of the business
How would I know about my niche/category?
This is the most confusing question to answer, but let me show you a method through which you can easily decide what to offer.
- Go to the Fiverr home page
- You will see the a variety of categories ranging from Graphics designing to Business.
- Open each category in the new tab.
- Check out the sub-categories in each of the categories.
- Read gigs that you feel you can do.
- After some time, you will come to know automatically what you can offer and create a gig using the below-mentioned steps.
Step 2: Create a gig that sells
Creating a powerful gig is an essential part of a successful Fiverr’s business. Most of the people rush to the selling part and often ignore the gig creation part. As the gig is the source of the orders, so it is important to optimize your gig fully.
- Find the Selling tab in the drop-down menu listed near your name and click on create a gig.
- Now you would already have decided that where you fit well. It’s either article writing or logo designing or whatever you have decided.
- But you have to make a persuasive gig.
- A successful gig optimizes the title, images or video, description, and tags.
Let’s move to the title and then the other parts and so on.
Title
It’s very tough to explain everything in the title. But at least, choose the words that clearly define your services and attract the buyers. Keep your title short and sweet. The short titles perform better and drive more sales. However, always keep the ranking factor in mind and mention the relevant keyword.
For example: Let’s say. You want to offer writing services on Fiverr. The title of your gig should explain what you are offering. Therefore, the title would be “I will write an OUTSTANDING 500 words article”
Such titles are not only short and sweet, but it likewise encourages the buyer to see your gig.
Note that never list your gig in an irrelevant category. Always select the relevant category.
Images Or Video
You can upload a video or images or both. But you have to make sure that your images are attractive and visually optimize. What does visual optimization mean?
A picture that is clearly visible. Moreover, it is recommended to upload a video. Because the internet is a big place where everything is scattered. Video personalizes your gig and makes the buyer feel as if you are talking to him directly. In return, the sales jump to 220%.
Description
Here you get the only chance to describe the title of your gig. Make sure that you follow a neat and clean format. Offer refund upon the unsatisfaction and highlight in the beginning that what a buyer is going to get in a result of buying this gig.
This is the opportunity to sell your gig and let the buyers know that what is so special in your gig and why should they buy it. As in the above picture, you might have observed that the seller has mentioned a line “It will be interesting, engaging & well-researched.” Which is talking about the end results that what a buyer will receive. Here the seller played very wisely to mention it because everybody is interested in the end results of the jobs.
Tags and extras
For extras, there is only one recommendation. Your gig extras should be relevant and realistic. If your gig is about article writing so your gig extra should also be about the writing, not about logo designing etc. However, if you leave the tags area totally blank because it’s optional then you’re committing a big mistake. Insert the relevant tags in your gig and earn some extra Fiverr SEO score.
Your First order
Getting the first order might a very tough job for the beginners because nobody wants to take a risk and buy services from a seller who has no portfolio and no feedback yet. But creating a gig like this can encourage a buyer to place an order on your gig. The reason is that the organize, well-structured and persuasive gig leave a very professional impression on the buyer and reveal your authority and expertise. I think you need to create new gigs as it seems that fiverr has removed your gigs from search results.
is it so? why they will delete dids from search?
Because Fiverr update its algorithm every now and then and most of times, when your gig doesn’t comply to it. They simply drop it.
